Many moons ago (LCPL days) I was replacing a 5 ton engine and had it about buttoned up. The shop chief sent me the poor soul PFC. I told him to go to the tool room for the 8qt oil can and get me 60 WT oil. He came back with an empty can about 15-20 minutes later only to tell me he couldn't find the 60WT drum. I asked him if there was 30 WT and he confirmed. I made him go fetch another 8qt oil can, toldhim to go back to the HazMat area and half fill each can, pour one can into the other while mixing the two 30WTs together (Naturally 30 + 30 = 60) in order to make 60 WT. One at a time he brought back "60 WT, 8qt oil cans" until the engine was about half full. Fortunately for him, QC was asking what was taking so damn long and got him off the hook. I thought it was genius, QC not so much.
