Crank sensor is located in the timing cover on the lower left (driver) side, connector is a round connector usually mounted with a p-clamp just above the oil pan line. look in you TM or IETM for sensor, RPM 2815-01-455-8424. This will show you the location.

So I’m back to the same dumb truck. It won’t shift or move unless I mass on the accelerator. I have a HMMWV that only goes forward very slowly eventually moving like normal. The transmission was replaced and the TCM was replaced. The PROM was replaced with a new btw. Now it takes us mashing on the accelerator pedal fur a while before it starts to move. Any thoughts?

I think it is the catalytic converter. I suggest removing the exhaust cross over and see if it drives and shifts better. Try that out and update me if it's a fix brother. Keep us posted.

So this morning I came in and started it up and put it into Drive. it wouldn't move, I put it into neutral and then shifted the transfer to High Lock. when I pressed on the accelerator it jumped forward and slammed back out of high lock into high and now moves back and forth fine through all the gears.....so lost at this point. I'm taking it on a test drive this morning after coffee.....

Good afternoon,

were you able to retrieve any codes? take it for a test drive outside the compound. Shift it manually, pay close attention to the performance.
