4L80E Pressure Solenoid

Postby MeyerMW » 23 Jan 2016, 06:39

Hopefully someone has the answer. I have a different style pressure solenoid in one of my M1151A1s than what is in the manual. Does anyone have the other NSN/NIIN for the pressure solenoid with the plug on the side? The NSN/NIIN in the manual (TM 11033-INP Dtd Mar '02, Page 0097-00 (302 Electronic); Item #26) is for the plug that goes on the end/top. Will get a picture of the solenoid if that will help. I even checked the M1123's parts manual and it has the same part.

Here is the NIIN for the pressure solenoid that plugs on top (black plug)
NIIN - 5945-01-478-7862

This is the message from Gunny Caruso at the school house brother.
Is this the EPC you are looking for (pictured)?

If so, he is in the same situation as you as far as the NSN. He's sending an email to AM General and will CC me on it and ask them to reply to all. I'll follow up as I get more info. I'll also ask him to include you.

What year is your Transmission?

Yes, that is the one (Green and purple Wire). out of 3 HMMWVs I have looked at, 2 have this style.

How do I determine the year of the tranny? Will look at it today for both trucks and get back to you.
