There is a difference between the PCB and GPC for the ECV and HMMWV variant vehicles.

yeah this came up a couple years ago when the ECV's first came out and you can order the KDS PCB and it comes with the corresponding yellow GPC and usually the PCB has a yellow dot on it

So i tried ordering the nsn for the kit from the attachment and the nsn bombed out. So i called the number to Am general for the right nsn for the M1152 and newer Kds pcb and glow plug kit and they gave me 6110015427901 and when it came in it was a green pcb box with older style glow plug controller. I'm thinking to myself what is going on did this guy give me the wrong nsn anyway So put it in and it cycles fine even though it is for older style HMMWV's, hope this helps cause the nsn's on the Attachment are outdated.

In regards to all this, at my last unit I had the nsn's for both PCB's. One to match the yellow striped GPC and one to match the other. Now at my new unit I do not. I have read over the info, but stil questioning. I have an M1151 which needs a PCB it has the yellow striped GPC. Which NSN(s) do you use to match it? in my PEB I have the 9260 nsn kit which contains a KDS PCB but also came with the plain GPC.

As far as I know it should be NSN 6110-01-395-9585... but i would double check as I do not have one on hand to check right now.

Well the KDS PCB and gpc strike again on my M1152 vehicles. To anyone who thinks this is a crock of crap just order the older PCB and GPC never have a problem with them. Not the right thing to do acording to Usible on codes but you will never have a problem with them going bad for a long time. Ordered the New kit less than 6 months ago and already not cycling again put the old kit in and no problems. Kds is a bunch of crap anyone else agree?
