Postby danielle.garcia » 22 Jun 2011, 12:50

well i've been troublshooting this vehicle for some time now and im stuck. I've replaced the master light swithch, turn signal swith, flasher unit, the pcb, and the glow plug controller. i've went through the schmetics and have checked all my grounds atleast twice and im stuck. i got the flashers to work two times but once i turnded them off they wouldn't go back on. the lights actually light up but do not flash. both turn signals work as well. Can anyone send me in another direction, any help would be awsome.

hey danielle,
Sorry i am a bit confused, i think you edited your original post which took me a while to notice that it was an edit and not a new post. Any ways, i am posting for a bump, because an edit doesnt show up as a new post and i want your post to be noticed....

All,
Give some tips or advice if you have seen this before. Thanks

well idk if he ever fixed the problem but if you ever run into this problem its more than likely that its just the brake switch linkage that needs to be bent to the right shape.

I had the same problem a while back. The flasher unit was partially melted, replaced that, part of the plug and wiring was also partially melted. went to the dermo pile, clipped a multi connector plug end off an old wiring harness and soldered it to my existing harness. Hope this helps.
