OIL PRESSURE GAUGE DROPS TO ZERO

Postby SULLY86 » 29 Jul 2015, 09:32

I have an M1152 that shows faults on the oil pressure gauge. the needle bounces around and gives a reading of about 10psi. Then if you turn the lights on the needle drops to zero. The TM keeps telling me its the oil sending unit but ive tested it in another vehicle and it works perfectly fine. Ive tested the gauge and it works fine in another vehicle also. All proper voltage is there with the lights on or off and ive done continuity checks through all the grounds on the instrument cluster. So i have proper voltage, grounds, continuity and all wires are plugged in where they should be. any ideals with this problem would be greatly appreciated
