F24 Item Instance comment!!

If you haven't been through FSMAO inspections recently then you probably aren't aware of MARADMIN 277/14 (yes it's cancelled). What FSMAO should be updating their reference to is 555/14 USMC POLICY ON CONVERTING CONUS AVIATION AND GROUND/TACTICAL EQUIPMENT FROM JP-8 TO F-24. You are required to annotate the FIRST TIME you put F-24 into your equipment (included engineer gear and fuel pumps/pods/tanks). This is similar to when we switched to JP-8 from diesel and the two did not like be in the same place at the same time.
This is just a means to track when it was first "converted" to the new fuel and that is it. Please make sure you are aware of your fuel type being utilized and make the note as necessary.
