Camber Adjustment

Postby MGySgtMaj Larry » 23 Aug 2016, 16:07

Dear Leathernecks,
I'm sure you have all had this problem, but the rear axles on a couple of my trucks have a very bad camber (up & down) alignment, I am asking to see if there is a MOD, an NSN, Kit, or a quick fix anyone has used to get through this problem. I am tired of replacing the rear tires on the same trucks three times within a years period of time. It seems like if there was a heavy load in the back of the truck then everything would even out.

sounds like you have the wrong springs on. there are a few different kinds for different loads (armored trucks, ambulances, unarmored, etc) you might want to check the records on that and see if someone put the wrong ones on because that would lift it up and make the camber messed up.

If that vehicle has been on a MEU, the springs may be the correct ones and the whole vehicle may have a lower ride height. With them being tied down so much the springs can go bad. just throwing out an idea
