looking at both manuals, both for the same gear, there is discrepancies. in the users guide from USMC3529 on page 5 in the recovery section it shows to use the VAPOR side during recovery. In the other manual, on page 1 for set up it shows using the LIQUID port. also, during the recharge section of the two manuals one states charging with liquid and the other shows charging vapor only and a safety note for this. I know from all the AC work I have performed, if you charge the vehicle with liquid without the vehicle running up to or close to the full charge, it will work and will not take as long. When charging from the vapor side the tank gets very cold and this causes the pressure to drop in the tank, taking even longer. A warming blanket is the only way to do a vapor charge without taking all day.
