Use this form to suggest changes to publications. We all find typos, or statements in PUBS that might not be the exact way we do things in the fleet for a number of reasons; time, efficiency, or capabilities. This is where you let the people who write the PUBS know that we who are doing the work, might be doing things a better way. "Squeeky wheel gets the grease" scenario. Use this tool to our advantage.

First item I would like to STRESS is this, an IETM is also a TECHNICAL PUBLICATION and if and when you find an error or you think information is missing or not clear, PLEASE SUBMIT A NAVMC 10772. Every IETM has a PCN. Just make sure, like a printed manual, you have the CURRENT Ed of the manual/IETM when you submit the form. It will save us all a lot of time. If your not sure, no problem, submit the NAVMC 10772 anyways. It will only make us all smarter in the process.

FSRs: Did you have to go see or find an FSR to answer a question not covered in the manual or IETM? If you did, take the time to submit a NAVMC 10772. FSRs may not always be around and if you needed a FSR to get an answer, someone one will has well. Let's work together and make the manuals and IETMs better for everyone.

HOME/Search screen: https://portal.logcom.usmc.mil/sites/pubs/default.aspx (Click on NAVMC 10772) <--- Updated link 7 Jan 2015.

Use the above link to submit a NAVMC 10772 'directly' (it will save a lot of time and everyone can see what you submitted by using the search form). The above link will bring you to what is maybe called the 'home' page. Along the top you will see 'links' to submt a new recommendations/changes/report errors:

PART 1: Limited to PUBS ERRORS, NUMBERING, ASSEMBLY, ILLUSTRATIONS, ID., etc:

PART 2: Limited to LOGISTICS - MAINTENANCE - DATA CODING (i.e., SMRC) - TECHNICAL Applications (other than pubs):

Use the paper form ONLY when you can't use the on-line process. When using the on-line process, the submitter will receive an answer electronically and everyone who does a search can see the same answer. If you don't hear back from anyone, let your chain of command know.

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!
Semper Fi!

This post is a little old. The new way to submit NAVMC 10772's electronically is at this link https://mceits.usmc.mil/sites/pubs/default.aspx. Literally follow this link, click NAVMC 10772 up in the top right after youve logged in with your CAC. Might take a little research and reading the reference power, but it's all there.
