HEADLIGHT NSN

Postby ALLEWIS » 20 Apr 2016, 13:13

We've been using 6220015479043 for headlight on 1152, but keeps going to a canked status. Just curious to see if we have the wrong one or any replacement NSN for this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks is advance.

If you were attempting to order the LED bulb, they are not authorized apparently. Maybe that's the issue.

The LED is no longer available. Here is the "HID" style. Pics attached.

It's not that it's NOT authorized. They just stopped using it. It's likely a contracting thing, found a new supplier. I could tell you a comical story about Armstrong tools and how they went out of business when they had a Military contract to supply the whole of the DOD... haha.
