How do you go about getting IETMS installed on your gov computer? The unit I am with has no disc and we are in a somewhat isolated location from other units with MTVR's.

Actually, the way to solve this depends on the device.

It can't be loaded at this time to a NMCI PC or laptop.

If its a VADS your unit needs to be loaded to MCPDS to ensure they get the updates.

If its an EMSS device only an EMSS FSR can update the IETM.

If its a standalone device owned or purchased by the command, you can in fact use the IETM and copy it to the PC/Laptop. Again, your unit must have the PCN for the IETM loaded to its MCPDS accound and your section should be listed on the IDL for the IETM.

If your still having issues, please e-mail me; Herbie.Morris@usmc.mil

First I want to say, fair winds and following seas Sir. Second, ask your S-6 because I'm hearing they can install stuff on NMCI computers now since June. Please keep in mind that this may not happen until August but keep asking.
